ICS Retrofit's Carroll County Sheriffs MC1

Stevensville, MD (January 10, 2009)– Incident Communication Solutions, LLC (ICS) has recently completed a retrofit of the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office Mobile Command Center (MC-1) which will significantly increase the Maryland agency’s communication capabilities.

Integrated with a turn-key IP-network and utilizing ICS’ Tactical-IPSM Broadband Satellite Service, the MC-1 will be able to access critical information, transmit real-time data, and have connectivity no matter location, environment, or traditional infrastructure availability.

Raytheon JPS’ ACU-T Tactical Radio Interoperability Bridge was integrated into the unit to provide the MC-1 team seamless communication with other agencies no matter what types of radios are being used.  The MC-1 was also outfitted with Satellite DSS service allowing personnel to monitor news outlets and other programming useful for situational awareness.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s MC-1 will now operate using ICS’ Tactical-IP “Responder” Broadband Satellite Service Package which gives the unit full communications capabilities in any situation.  The “Responder” package offers 10 days per month usage for $325 per month.
