Stevensville, MD (July 1, 2008) Incident Communication Solution’s, LLC (ICS) announces that Anne Arundel County’s Mobile Command & Communications Unit (MCCU) has been upgraded to Tactical-IP^SM Satellite services, which will give the county greater means of communications.

The County was looking for a way to significantly scale back its monthly operational expenses, yet retain a robust level of service for their Emergency Management agency. As a part of the VSAT upgrade, the agency will experience much higher throughput rates (up to 3 Mb/s downlink and up to 1 Mb/s uplink) while saving significantly on what they were spending.
