Howard County Upgrades to TACTICAL-IP

Stevensville, MD (June 9, 2008) Incident Communication Solution’s, LLC (ICS) announces that the Howard County Emergency Management has been upgraded to ICS’ Tactical-IPSM Satellite service, giving the Maryland agency greater communication’s resources and capability.
 
The Tactical-IP satellite service upgrade will give Howard County Emergency Management a solution that integrates voice-over-IP, Video (Surveillance and Conferencing) and other high speed data communications. This service will give the agency the ability to maintain command, control and communication no matter location or situation.
 
Howard County Emergency Management Command Unit will now operate using ICS’ Tactical-IP “Communicator” Broadband Satellite Service Package which gives the unit the ability to maximize usage days in a given month without worrying about per-day overage charges. Using the “Communicator” plan, the terminal can utilize up to 9 Gigabytes of Inbound and Outbound IP-based traffic over the month for $525 per month, without incurring additional charges.
