When disaster strikes, first responders know communications assets are crucial to their relief efforts. For those times when terrestrial communications infrastructure is damaged, destroyed, overloaded or unavailable, the ICS pCom® 355, provides a lifeline for people on the front lines of public safety and emergency preparedness. The ICS pCom 355 mobile infrastructure system is designed to supply essential on-scene communications, clean power, lighting, and storage for public safety communications, disaster recovery and continuity of operations. Whether it is robust connectivity, lighting, or powergeneration- ICS pCom 355 has the capability to meet your mission objectives no matter how austere the conditions.
Emergency situations require a fast, effective response. ICS pCom 355 is a mobile communications infrastructure solution that provides emergency responders with 100% reliable communications no matter where they are operating. Built with public safety conditions in mind, ICS pCom 355 is towable by any half-ton truck and is self-sufficient with 100 gallons of diesel on-board, keeping the system powered without refueling for up to 7 days. This platform allows for public safety officials to bring 10kVA of clean generator power, scene lighting and critical communications to an incident site without taking away from other critical mission resources.

Public Safety operations require adequate and convenient resources. ICS pCom 355 is a 5-in-1 solution providing both essential communications and site resources in a portable platform. Structurally designed for the unique needs of public safety, the unit contains an integrated 41’ tower providing site lighting, radio and repeater antennas, and optional wireless mesh endpoints.
The ICS pCom 355 features an environmentally controlled electronics enclosure meeting extreme environment NEMA4X standards offering protection from airborne particulates (dust, dirt, debris), external protection from ingress of rain, sleet, snow, splashing water and hose directed water.
Options include shelter-in-place capability to offer a complete solution for forward-area operations.
Technology shouldn’t slow down response time. ICS pCom 355 is easy to setup and does not require a network technician or IT specialist. Access to phones, data systems and video teleconference is quickly achieved over broadband satellite connectivity. Deployable by one person in under 15 minutes, the unit is designed to serve areas where larger command vehicles, commercial trucks and trailers are unable to access. Once the forward operations base is set-up, the tow vehicle is available for use at other areas of the operation
ICS pCom 355 is powered by ICS Tactical Incident Communication System TICS, a robust solution that provides a communications backbone to the unit. Equipped with an AVL 960 VSAT antenna and ICS Tactical-IP™ satellite service, ICS pCom 355 is capable of broadband up to 5Mb/s downlink x 2Mb/s uplink. Providing an Internet connection supporting IP Phones, computers, and radio interoperability gateways, the unit also has the capability to connect to the PSTN, Cellular Gateways or most any other IP-based resource.
Standard issue in the ICS pCom 355 solution is the ICS Outrigger™ Network Extension Module and 1000 feet of tactical-grade fiber optics. This allows the operator to extend the capabilities of the ICS pCom 355 into a fixed facility to provide backup recovery to an EOC, PSAP or Alternate Care Facility. This extension provides up to 24 wired connections for computers and phones, as well as an integrated wireless access-point for convenience and additional expansion. Outrigger modules can be cascaded for the ultimate in scalability.
First responders don’t have time or money to spare, so the ICS pCom 355 comes reasonably priced with a generous set of capability. Pricing on the system can even include satellite and voice services from the start. This approach gives you economical options on emergency communications recurring expenses.
The ICS pCom 355 system provides subscriber users complete flexibility in communication and supports capability for the following:
